This department has been functioning in its own building. It has a herbal garden, spread over about 5 acres of land, comprising of more than 100 plants. The garden is being used for the practical training and teaching purpose of the students. This department has its own museum containing about 200 varieties of dries drugs and 30 varieties of different charts and 150 photos of various plants. A mini herbal garden is developed in the premises of Saradeswari Ayurvedic Hospital (Near daily market) for use as the vehicle of distributed medicines, which is under the department of Dravyguna.
